You can't help but get emotional just listening to it.
Also, a lovely, haunting song used in this film!
    Who agrees?

You know, I would have entirely agreed before, but now I'm partial to another one of her songs "May It Be" from Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. I'm addicted to it!

I love the song, but I don't think it was used correctly in parts of this movie. Like when Nelson was dreaming about Sara after she made him leave; it felt like the wrong song for that part IMO.

I like most of Enya's stuff, as well as Loreena McKennitt and all that. I liked the song, think it fit the movie for the most part, but on the whole, I think Only Time is overplayed much of the time on certain radio stations in my area. I may have liked the song more if I didn't hear it constantly while driving somewherethe only time I listen to the radio, really, but I do a lot of driving. I prefer To Go Beyond (I and II,) and Boadicea.

Is it just me, or does it sound kinda Christmas-y?

I loved the song in the end. When he is walking alone after she had left him.
                        I started to cry

The film's last 20mins are so emotional I can't help myself
The music in the background is excellent throughout the movie love the soundtrack
Enya does enchanting music!!! Absolutely fab to relax, think, cuddle, etc
Several Emotions are 'activated' you understand her point of view but you don't want him to leave her!!! It's so dramatic the way he reaches out blindfolded only to find that she is gone forever
Oh! Gosh! There it goes again sorry you guys brings up memories of my life as a uni student so you understand!!!
                          Thanx

although I basically consider Enya muzak for overweight soccer moms; I have to admit it was used well in this film.

Interesting opinion, statman122. Funny too! LOL I'm a woman but I'm not a mom & only about 10 pounds overweight (I'm 5 foot 2 & weigh 128 pounds). Actually, Enya's music is excellent as background music for getting a massage. Very relaxing! Ah, I miss those massages! Also relaxing!
My poor achy muscles (from fibromyalgia) would LOVE for me to be able to afford massages again!
Ah, I'm watching Sweet November right now (again; it's on TBS) & they just played part of "Only Time." But it's not the end of the movie yet. (It's right after Nelson turned down the advertisement deal with the idiot & then met Sara.) Nice song. Funny, I don't own any Enya CDs.

speaking of the last song.what is it and who did it?
as far as "Enya".this overweight grandma thinks she has one of the most captivating voices ever. then again, Bo Bice rocks and Alabama speaks to my soul. most types of music find a niche in my life.

maybe not most beautiful, but one of the most (imho) :). its very relaxing and brings who listens to the timeless places, at least i went
but in the movie, the lyrics does not match with the movie's story, maybe music only make some sense.

I absolutely love that song and it totally made that part of the movie for me. I don't think any other song would have been as good in that part of the movie. Every time I hear it I get chills and I have to stop myself from crying.
How many did you love before me?
                                          None.
                                          And after me?
                                          None - Tristan and Isolde
