Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Angel Links

As a huge fan of Outlaw Star, I just had to watch Angel Links, and though I don't find it as good as Outlaw Star, it's still a fun trip back to the Toward Stars Universe.
It is different from Outlaw Star, and I appreciate that. I wouldn't have wanted just a retread of the same story or even the same world. Angel Links takes place mostly in the same system, whereas Outlaw Star seemed to hope worlds and galaxies across the universe.
That being said, I do like the ties into Outlaw Star, such as Duuz and Valeria, the use of bio-androids to pilot ships, and even a came from Fred Luo. Overall though, Angel Links is definitely has its own tale to tell. And coming in at just 13 episodes, it does so in a space adventure kind of way.
So many stories, so little time.
