This Film was truly a master piece, this film shows that what a true hero was He. The man who got us out of the slavery of the hindus and the sikhs of that time, was not a phisically strong man but of Magnificient mind and a great determintation to lead his country.
These type of films should be made to remind our next generation that how important were our great leaders.
We salute you Mr. Jinnah -

yeah right.
he was a man who threated to cause civil war in india had his demands for free muslim state been rejected.
in fact it is well recorded that jinnah was not even a strong muslim, he drank liquor and lived and acted like a british man for almost his entire term in india.
infact he used and toyed with communal politics very much like the vhp and the congress to achieve his personal goals of success and power.
if muslims want to look up to leaders they need to look at people such as maulana azad, apj, and not conniving, machiavellian leaders such as jinnah.
this again does not imply that he was a black monstorous badmouthing beast, but rather a man of great potential who simply got lost in his unrequitted love of power. -

Bollywood heroes are INDIAN muslims.. man. they are our own. They feel proud to be indians. Because they get the freedom to express their talent here. They get the respect for their talents in return. The muslims in india are free to think, free to wear what they like, and free to express. not like pak muslims. How many of the pak people have been killed because they have not worn a burqa or they hv expressed their opinions Frankly, are you not ashamed???
Pakistan, the state is created by Jinnah. But have you people ever experienced freedom???
INDIA IS A FREE COUNTRYYY
and indian muslims are proud to be INDIAN muslims.

Every country has its own share of riots and violence. I didn't say that india is free from violence. I said Indian muslims are free.. to vote, to create parties, to come up in the society, to act, to wear what they like, to write books, to party, to marry from other religions, to get the beep out of India's enemies, and what not! Just see how many muslims are playing in the indian cricket team. just see how many muslims are in the entertainment field. just see how many muslims are in the Indian army. And for your information, The Indian President is Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam who is very much a muslim.
Here we look for talent and not religion. In stark contrast, i would like to quote the example of Pakistan cricket team. There WAS one christian called Yousuf Youhana and now his name is Mohammad Yousuf. I guess you need no more evidence.
INDIA IS A FREE COUNTRYYY

Yes but speaking as a complete 'alien' who spent time living in Pakistan , I can clearly say that yes there are problems in Pakistani society and the people need to be educated about them but having said only the people can do that! Unlike the so called secular Indian government that has rubber stamped politicans and manfactured actors so they can make them-selves appear to be one to the out-side world.

Raulfreddy, I apologize for my earlier post, it wasn't called for.
I'm happy that you are patriotic as an indian muslim. My concern was only for the wellbeing of my muslim bros/sisters across the border, seeing how over 2000 were raped/killed in india 4 yrs ago.
Be as indian as you want, we're fine with that. But when our people are being killed your countrydon't expect us to be quiet about that.
I have lived in pakistan and I can tell you that we treat our minorities well. Though we also have our occasional riots/etc, I really doubt that pakistanis have ever committed mass murders to such a scale as the hindus have recently(One thing that brought tears to my eyes was hearing how pregnant muslim women were knifed open and their unborn kids thrown in the fire) IT was an absolute horrific crime and the indian government did absolutely nothing considering its a "free democracy". Even the Sikhs have been betrayed by the hindus on many occasions. Though we are not indian, these are things we will never forget.
My question to you is: what has this "democratic gov't" done to ensure that such a genocide never occurs again?
regards. -

I'm an Indian muslim and I can tell u that we're happy that my granddad didnt make the same mistake some of his cousins made -aka- migrating to Pakistan. Most of them have migrated to Canada and UK,but our family is still well in India
U say u treat ur minority well, other than kidnapping Hindu girls and converting them, other than burning churches and destroying temples, using blasphemy laws for personal vengeance, bombing Shia Mosques and killing them while travelling in bus, desecrating Ahmedi graves and not given proper treatment to your first Nobel winner,Abdus Salam..
The relationship between Indian and Pakistani muslims were cut during 1947 and we dont need your helpWe can defend on our own..We dont want to be authoritative country like urs..
Ur country is going to dogs, because muslims cease to act as muslims, but u people act like dinosaurs in Jurassic Park -

LOL! The Indian jealousy at the existance of Pakistan is showing in this thread! Jinnah tried very hard to work with the Hindu's to make sure that India would remain a united country. But he later realized that because the Hindus were much greater in number, and because of the Hindu refusal to accept his 14 points, he had to ask for a separate nation. Do some research from unbiased sources before you come here to diss the Father of our Nation. And I know you Indian's are giving this film the lowest rating you can, but please, actually watch the film or don't vote at all.
We Pakistani's respect your Gandhi, you should respect our Jinnah. -

Sanjay, time to grow up buddy. Neither Pakistan NOR india can get anything out of each other with war. Its just the world we live in. Whether Pakistan gets Kashmir or not, its a different thing, but the point is How many more lives India is willing to waste to keep the part of the land that it didn't even get fairly?

I am of Indian origin and look at all the writings in this thread with disgust. I am personally happy with the existence of both countries in a idealogical sense. Both countries are not going to go away, we might as well accept that. Both countries have their share of problems. India has too many people with problems such as poverty, malnutrition and corruption.
If Jinnah were around now, he would be ashamed of Pakistan and how religious tensions are tearing the country. Jinnah was a man of integrity who realized the problems with too much religion and had wanted a secular country where muslims could live in peace. What do we have instead in Pakistan, people wanting Sharia law and so on.
Instead of concentrating on who has Kashmir, who is great etc, I would think that both countries need to work on improving the economic structure to reduce the severe problems in both countries.
