@Yermom Is God
What is a purity test? The guy in the video mention that neither Elizabeth Warren nor President Trump took a purity test.
And you mentioned President calling Warren out for being a lying crook well apparently she's lied again. This time about wine cave fundraising.

A purity test is a term for a standard applied to someone or something on an issue which an individual or group demands a perfect standard be met. Anyone can have their own purity test they apply to others. In politics both parties have their own that are generally agreed upon by most members of the said party. The most discussed is the issue of abortion. Democrats typically support choice, Republicans oppose it. Within the parties you can have factions calling for purity on any number of issues. This is when you see the regressive nature of purity tests discussed. It is simply not possible for any one candidate to meet every standard demanded by every side, so the end result is no candidate will ever be good enough. It becomes a self defeating measure. In that video, the purity test that Elizabeth Warren is said to be failing is one she applied to Pete Buttigieg. She is criticizing him for taking money from wealthy doners, when she herself has done the same.
