How on Earth did I miss the fact that there was a debate this evening? I'm usually on top of these things, especially given the gravity of this election.

I was watching the first debate on a livestream by one of the Nutmeg & Harold YT channels and we were all livechatting at the same time. We had a great time! I wish I was paying attention because they're probably doing another live. I wasn't paying attention.

Here we go with Harris & Walz promising $50,000.00 credits to start homes (uh huh, and WHO is going to PAY for ALL of these $50,000.00 credits PER each household? Huh? Huh?)
I missed the short exchange about the firearms, so I don't know what got passed by.
WTF? Walz is saying you don't have to pay your loans back? Does he not understand how economics works? NONE of this is free. EXACTLY! He said, "we get some of that money back." Yeah, they do. THROUGH FUCKING TAXES! He wants to "government" to provide "kickstart" money? WHO is ultimately paying for this?

I'm watching Vance and Walz debate now.
Vance is a much better speaker. Walz sounds like he has a speech impediment. I'm not saying that to make fun of him, but rather I am saying that because Vance is more articulate and easier to listen to.
Who is moderating this?

I actually should be getting ready to go to bed, so the last thing I really should be doing is watching a political debate that is going to get me all fired up and emotional and then expect I'm going to be able to get to sleep!

This is rather ironic, but I've got Spaceballs running in the background because that's what happens to be on TV.
I try to get into bed by 11:30-midnight (unless Patrick texts me at 2am lol)
Usually around 11:00pm, if I'm not wrapping up, my dog will come over and just stand in front of me and stare. That's it, just stare at me. It's like he's telepathic and his thoughts zoom right into my brain as he relays to me, "Time for bed! Time for bed! Get off your ass and come to bed! Now!"

I think I'm going to have to stop watching this debate because I really do need to calm down and watch something funny or soothing or calm before going to bed.
I'm slowly getting the "doggy eyeballs" - you know. "The Look". They're so good with their eyes. With just a glance, they stare into your soul!

I forgot myself and was reminded today. It’s on all major news and streaming platforms. At least they are addressing the issues.
I was watching the Sopranos. Galaxy Quest is good.
I want to watch the after shows as well.
