I feel like this is a point that's rarely even talked about or brought up. People just rag on Carolyn, who was also a terrible parent, but Lester was arguably even worse. He takes absolutely no interest in his daughters life, he didn't even want to attend her cheerleading recital, and she even states that he's hardly spoken to her for months. He quits his job to become a fast food worker, earning significantly less money to support her. He spends all his time just working out, smoking pot, and trying to beep her underage friend. Their longest conversation I can recall is when he tells her she's going to turn into a bitch just like her mother. Lester was a completely selfish, uncaring father
