How they should continue the story after Part 2

So the 3rd was garbage, I hear. I read up on it and decided not to watch it. Going against my belief in forming an opinion on a movie by watching it yourself not just reading reviews, but I guess there is a first time for everything.
Anyway at the end of part 2 Annie breaks the mirror, the keeper of Candyman's soul as he said. However while Candyman is falling to pieces his hook goes flying doesn't it, intact? Yes it does watch it again if you don't believe me. I mean it may have gone down with the slave quarters, but that's not really a problem. A raging river could have sent it downstream, or it got stuck in one of the boards and floated along. The hook could be the object for his resurrection. Someone finds the hook and with a little abra kadabra he comes back. New Orleans, voodoo, witch doctorsThe backstory can stay the same. The mirror was destroyed, it contained his soul, but that doesn't mean his soul was destroyed, it was set free from the realm of earth. Bringing him back through the hook would change him. Any bit of love or goodness he had in him was destroyed with the mirror. The hook was his tool of destruction, all his negative energy. His anger, venegence, murderous ways, etc. So if he returns via the hook he would be pure evil. I know he is pretty evil to begin with, but he had a little bit of love in him, tied to Caroline through the mirror.
I mean come on is it so hard hollywood? I guess when your out for money you can't see things like this. Only bees, boobs, and blood. The story eludes them. Then again, I didn't see part 3, but after reading what I found, I don't really want to. Apparently even the Candyman didn't like Candyman 3.
Maybe this idea could bring the Candyman back, I can only hope and fear for his return! candyman, candyman, candyman, candyman.
