I love horror/thriller films in generalit's so odd to see one with such heavy pro-Christian themes!

Christians, like anyone else, can like or dislike things for reasons that have little or nothing to do with their belief system.

I liked the movie, I don't get why this film had negative reviews. There was good acting the plot was decent, it had suspense. I just got through watching an unrealistic movie about a deranged monkey (Monkey Shines) that got a 6.2 rating on imbd.
My guess of why people don't like is because of the heavy Christian subtext. That could definitively come off as offensive to some people who are atheist or agnostic, but don't knock the movie because it doesn't agree with your beliefs or non beliefs lol the movie is well done.
