Tm McGough is credited as the director on the back of the VHS copy that I own.

He did not. He was asked this question in the "follow up" show, The World Greatest Hoaxes". In that show, the Tent Footage was shown to be fake, not the Autopsy footage, which is now being brought out as a creation made by, Spyros Melaris.
