No kidding. Any guy who can play a badass Dominician drug lord in one movie, then turn around and play a nebbish, stuttering photographer, like Howard Bingham in Ali, has got serious acting chops.

That was insanely hilarious, the way he said 'Tiguh Wooo.. Tiguh Wooooh' !!
In a lot of other English words ending with 's' he would just leave it out, can't remember which ones but he did. And then there was barely a sentence he spoke without a 'mo fo'in it.
Is he really 6" tall ? He looked shorter than that in the movie. -

FYI- Wright was a soldier in The Manchurian Candidate, with Denzel Washington, he is all kinds of screwed up in that film.. Gulf War Syndrome, actually mind control experiments.. Kind of cool. This is one of the few flicks I've seen him in. Friend of mine told me Basquiat was great. True or false?

after I fell in love with his acting (because of Angels in America, where he plays 2 completely different characters and he's so brilliant that I didn't know those 2 characters were played by the same guylol), I watched Shaft just for him. and whenever he was on screen I still couldnt believe how great he is and I repeated to my bro: "wow, he's such a brilliant actor..! he's really amazing!" etc.

I've only seen parts of this movie, and as much as I "dig" S. Jackson, the actors portraying the villains are amazing, including Jeffrey Wright. The scene between him and Bale that I saw was riveting. What an amazing job Wright did in this
