I love this movie and it is another one of my favorites of NYC. The apartment where Walter Wade lives.is it real? The scene of him getting out of the cab to go home and then they show him leaving the "apartment". Is there a real apartment building in this area? The view out his window shows The New Yorker building. I've been to NYC and this bit of trivia is confusing. Can a NY diehard help me on this trivia? I appreciate all queries.

Looking at the Filming locations on IMBD it seems they used a real address. You can sue Google maps and street level to see the actual locations.
