He had Trey's blood on his hand. His bloody thumbprint was on Diane's driver's license. His prints could probably been pulled off of the murder weapon. Plus, several people witnessed an altercation between Walter and Trey. Would that have been enough?

Who else killed him? It would take the most inept prosecutor to not get a conviction.

His father was rich. Could've bought the Judge/Jury. That's how the system works. He posted a total of $1.2 million in bail. That turns into Government money.
