I'd vote for a White Shaft
I'm also for re-making Roots with an all White cast! Of course Hollywood(Race) are the biggest PC offender's.

I like the idea of Bond being portrayed by Idris Elba, IF and only IF, they go with the long running theory that Bond is a code name for multiple agents.
Kinda hard to pull off after Skyfall, but I still think it's a good theory.

He's called Harry Callahan (Dirty Harry). Or is it John McClane (Die Hard)? Martin Riggs (Lethal Weapon)? Frank Bullitt (Bullitt)?
But, hey, if you really want a white Shaft I suppose the black community would be willing to trade you for a black Dirty Harry or a black Die Hard.
