Every new sequel that comes has no connection to the previous one at all. Hell, unless Isaac is featured in it his name isn't mentioned at all even though he started it all. Also, each movie ends with an ambiguous ending that possibly could have been carried over into the next one but NOOOOOO it's a different movie all together. Don't get wrong. I enjoyed the sequels immensely, it's just that it'd be nice to have some coherency and continuity in the series. Since I know each movie isn't build with the possibility of a sequel to that particular movie, I feel the ambiguous endings are tacked on as I feel the directors know the next movie won't have continuity.
Not to mention the fact that the sequels rarely make sense considering tiny things change over and over again and new characters are featured and the only thing they have to do with COTC is that they are possessed by HWWBTR. And what's the deal with the silo being the holding place for HWWBTR? What point is there is it's CHILDREN OF THE CORN, not CHILDREN OF THE SILO. -

I agree with you on the Silo and if you noticed an ADULT leads them in the fifth movie, when it should have been a CHILD; it is, "Children of the Corn" and NOT "Adults of the Corn/SILO".
I believe the only movies (of "Children of the Corn" that followed the 1st) is the second and the 6th, the rest take it away from the story line, especially the 7th one. However, just like you, I too love the sequals.
