Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror

Anyone noticed the rose at the beginning and wondered what it was doing in the midle of a corn field? It's a misunderstanding. In the original Stepen King story, and the first Cotc-movies they were talking about "he who walk behind the rows" (of the corn field). The makers of Cotc V has misunderstood this and thougt they were talking about a rose:)now that's dedication

Just saw the film with swedish subtitles and they consistently translated the famous line as if they were saying "He who walks behind the rose". Annoying!

I know this was posted years ago. But I'm only watching it now and this was annoying me. I'm glad someone else noticed that it should be rows. Even the main female keeps saying it like she's talking about a thing (rose) not a place (rows). So it wouldn't surprise me haha.
