Well thank the Lord!! You admit to NOT being a practicing Catholic. I am glad you admit that you are totally ignorant about a faith you claim to understand. I don't know WHAT you "practice", but from your posts it appears you practice ignorance and worship at the altar of secular humanism.
And don't speak for the Pope if you have left the Church, you arrogant blowhard!! emoji alert..

The issue here is that the Rockette Organization signed the contract to go to the inauguration. The individual dancers may despise Trump, and with good reason, but their employer made the deal. The dancers could get fired legally for not upholding their employment responsibilities, it is their job. If the entire Rockette Organization refused then it would be a totally different situation.

At this point, their performance will be tainted, regardless of which dancers choose to participate. It will be impossible for viewers to watch them without thinking of management's threatening memo to the dancers and their subsequent backing down over public outcry that the women were being made to perform for a leering, sexual predator. It's going to be a disgraceful inauguration and many Americans (including myself) won't stand on the wrong side of history by bothering to watch it.

This is very true. It's too bad the employer did not consult with the employees, since so many were involved, before he signed off on the contract.
However, if they are represented by a union (which I'm sure they are), I think individuals can opt out with union representation. Or, they can always 'call out sick' on the day of the performance - I doubt they can be penalized for that.

Hard to believe but I agree with pvd. Let the Rockettes who don't "wanna dance for Trump" back out. So what? No problem. Then he can have 'A Rockette' dance at the Inauguration.
All that matters is that they are dancing for a TRUMP Inauguration and not a HILLARY one. I don't care who performs. It is a tempest in a teapot. Just SO HAPPY beyond words that the evil woman in a pantsuit has been relegated to the ash heap of history. I would not CARE if the Muppets performed for Trump. Who cares? We have wrested our Republic away from the evil clutches of Mrs. Bill Clinton. DANCE on Rockette!! Don't care if it is ONE Rockette alone, it's enough to drive the leftards and Rachel Maddow crazy!
That's sweet enough for me!! emoji alert

A rational voice speaks up amid a sea of left-wing insanity -
A well-respected veteran Rockette is urging members of the famed dance troupe to put politics aside and do what they do best by kicking up a storm at the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.
The only thing the Rockettes should be focused on is performing for our nation and helping unite us all with the joy, love, beauty and strength for which they are famous, says Patty DeCarlo Grantham, a retired member of the world-famous troupe.
Grantham, president of the 552-member Rockette Alumnae Association, says she cringed when controversy erupted last week over plans to have the Radio City Music Hall dancers perform during the festivities surrounding Trumps Jan. 20 swearing-in.
Grantham was specifically upset over ex-Rockette Autumn Withers urging the troupe, famed for their high-kicking in unison, to boycott the inaugural.
We are all aware how contentious this election has been for our country, Grantham wrote in an email to the Madison Square Garden Co., which owns Radio City.
She also wanted MSG owner James Dolan to know that in no way does Ms. Withers opinions reflect the opinion of the Rockette Alumnae Association.
Like the millions of people who are true Rockette fans, we cannot wait to see the Rockettes proudly strut their stuff for the upcoming inauguration of the President of the United States of America.
Bravo, Ms. Grantham.
