Canadians have 'freaked out' over the fact that the White House has not denied the rumor that Sarah Palin, once the doyenne of the GOP, was up for the post of Ambassador to Canada, a position currently open.
When questioned whether she was indeed being considered this past Wednesday, Sean Spicer declined to put the rumors to rest, saying there was 'no further information' on the post.
"The Guardian" has reported that there have been talks in Ottawa and Washington DC about Palin filling the job - which she would have to give up her estimated $12M income in speaking fees, book deals and TV appearances. One Canadian tweeted : "Appointing Sarah Palin as the US ambassador to Canada is, like, ultimate trolling." Another pointed out: "This is entirely because Sarah Palin can see Canada from Alaska, isn't it?"
