Macy's "quietly" getting rid of Ivanka Trump merchandise?

And the Ivanka Trump line of merchandise is quietly fading out of Macy's, as the retailer has made 'drastic reductions' on all of Ivanka Trump's product lines this morning. A pair of shoes which sold for $150 on Saturday was reduced to $37 today. Boots which last week sold for $140 have been marked down to $35, and a 'faux fur coat' with a price tag of $400 has dropped to below $200.
The retailer has been pressured to drop the Ivanka Trump line, as other major department stores in the US - including Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom and Belk's- have already pulled her products due to the #GrabYourWallet campaign. It doesn't look good for Ivanka.
Macy's has not released an official statement on what they will do with the line and whether the drastic reductions were part of a 'store wide sale' or to clear their shelves of Trump merchandise, but a source within the company says the merchandise has not been selling since the boycott, and the company has already lost 'a lot of money' on the merchandise.

You really need to stop shopping at the Goodwill and venture out into the real world. Discounts like you have posted happen on every cheap brand in this country.
Ive gotten numerous private messages regarding you. Half state of the people state that you are a man, the other half state that you are a female. Ive been on the forum for a 3 months and Im still not able to determine your sex. Thats sad on so many levels. Stop embarrassing yourself on a public forum. -

Since when has Ivanka Trump's line been considered a 'cheap brand'? It was released as higher-end for distinguished consumers, you idiot. But then again, trailer park living is not exactly associated with 'distinguished consumers' so I guess that's why you're more familiar with 'every cheap brand' and 'Goodwill', and I'm not.

I don't think the situation with PVD is where he/she shops. It's just a problem of hating where OTHER people spend their money! Liberals really DO like to be in charge of other folks wallets!
Ivanka's stuff is waaay out of my price range. But I don't begrudge anyone else who can afford her stuff. I hate them, but I don't begrudge them
Department stores are within their rights to drop any line of clothes, jewelry, whatever,etc. The big problem here is that PVD takes delight and really relishes in someone else's failures or perceived failures. I suppose PVD is very familiar with failure. LOL
But really, how do the problems in someone else's life enhance the enjoyment in your OWN life? Well they do if you are a petty little bitter putz!!!

Hi there PJ, sorry for the delayed response, Ive been away on business and just returned.
I agree, thrift stores are awesome. In fact, I attribute them for many of the things Ive accomplished in life. In college, my sorority sisters and I used prowl the goodwill and salvation army (aka SA Boutique) in Maryland for goodies. Im going to age myself, but ebay was in its infancy and between beanie babies and goodwill finds we offset our tuition.
I quickly learned that the goodwill was a miniature secret goldmine (no longer the case) and continued to shop their to obtain treasures for my home which include pieces of furniture that Sothebys Auction house has offered me thousands for.
PVD, I would suggest refraining from laughing at Thrift Stores before you make your next post as there a lady just bought a pottery piece from GW for under $20 and its valued over $50k.
