They of course were nominated for best animated program for South Park You're Not Yelping, but both Trey and Matt are now competing against each other in the best voice over category at the Emmys too. To add more fun to this category, Seth MacFarlane is also nominated for Family Guy.

How many has Seth won compared to Trey and Matt? If I recall correctly, Trey just needs to win an Oscar to hold the elusive EGOT prestige. (Quite impressive considering that he is best known for a crude, goofball comedy cartoon). -

He was nominated for "Blame Canada".
I'd say his best shot at an EGOT is including an original song in The Book of Mormon when they finally get round to putting together the film adaptation they've promised. Provided that it does the stage show justice, that film will probably be nominated for Best Picture among other things but it has no chance of actually winning anything other than Original Song.
