Eastern European? America, could you please feature one movie where the Eastern European character (or person of Eastern European descent) ISN'T one of the following:
    a vampire
    a mobster
    an alcoholic mobster
    an alcoholic vampire
    an evil spy
    a prostitute / femme fatale
    a general sleazeball
please?? Or, could you at least make the Slavic vampire, mobster, alcoholic, spy, etc. NICE?
    Manuscripts don't burn.

He was orginally meant to be redneck/hick sort of person but they really liked the actor whom they later chose and changed his nationality

Yeah, I prefer this version to the one in the book. At least with this portrayal of Jimmy I get why Gillian fell so hard for him.

            ^This.
Maybe these actors should be less charming. After all, it's the most charming/suave people who make the best villains (in my opinion).
