John's miracles, listed here:
First, John resuscitated Del's mouse. It pretty much involved John sucking the "Bad" or the "Death" out of the Mouse, through it's mouth, into his mouth Evidenced by him blowing out the "Bad stuff".
Second, John sucks the Cancer out of Hal's wife as she lays in bed dying. He just sucks it right out of her mouth, into his and disposes of the badness, INTO Percy Via, yes, you guessed it, the Mouth; only for Percy to do "Bad" and then expel the "Badness" via his mouth
You see, here's my thing
Paul Edgecomb Paul Edgecomb has a Groin/Penis infection Now for the purposes of continuity n'all, shouldn't John Coffe have given Paul Edgecomb a full on Blow Job? -

No, I never said that he was a Pervert.
So, why didn't he just lay his hands on Hal's wife, it would have been far less intrusive and a lot less alarming.
I still think it's a torrid continuity error. -

No, there's no continuity problem at all. In every instance but one (leaving aside Percy's infection with the tumor, which is directly opposed to Paul's healing so should be obvious) Coffey had direct access to those he healed or sought to heal - the girls, Mr. Jingles, Melinda, and so on. The method employed varied according to the situation.

Nope, ridge, not unnecessary at all. I see exactly where the OP's coming from. There was a touch of eroticism there, but I wouldn't call it perversion.
