I love this movie. It never gets old. One of the most underrated entertainments of the 1990s. Wesley Snipes and Diane Lane were both great in this. The supporting cast was in fine form as well.

Exactly and it's entertaining to watch. Acting is awesome. See, you don't really find this genuinity and quality in recent movies. Even if this movie is cheesy at times, it's still better than 90 minutes popcorn flicks after 2000.

^^this.
so underrated. aside from the opening, all of the scenes were lit very noir-ish, actually.
it stays on my DVR. otherwise i'd buy the blu-ray if they sold it.
the club scene (and music), while brief, was a lot fun for a fantasized/romanticized happy hour. no one aloofly face down in their cell phones. remember when bars used to be irrevocably fun? -

Agreed.
One of the most underrated crime movies. Liked it a lot when I saw it in the theaters back in '97, and after seeing it again a few days ago, well, I feel the same way : )"You don't watch Michael Bay films. They happen to you."
