The dialogue sometimes gets lost in this movie, maybe between the subtle nuances the actors give, or the often overly loud but beautiful score. However there is one line that sticks out to me as very interesting and totally gets lost - when Joe threatens Drew with a future of hell - disguised within a threat of being sent to prison.
"Make no mistake. Should you choose to test my resolve in this matter, you will be looking at an outcome that will have a finality that is beyond your comprehension. And you will not be counting the days or the months or the years, but milleniums in a place with no doors."
Interesting stuff! Just thought I'd see if anyone else hadn't caught it.

I caught it. Another indirect reference is shortly after when Hopkins asks if he should be worried, and is not "not a man like you". A simple "no" would have been boring, but also lead us to believe Death is the end of our journey.
