If you enjoyed this movie, you'd probably love 1938's 'Child Bride'.

Not entirely sure what you guys mean by diamond in the rough. If great movie that's not that famous, then may I recommend a movie called No Night is Too Long, a British movie. Also, Central Station, a beatiful Brazilian one. This amazing movie called Mysterious Skin would probably fall in this category as well.

Oh, there's also Bad Santa, with Billy Bob Thornton. And a French movie called Le hrisson. Hedwig and the Angry Inch too. So many really.

Well since it's close to Christmas I'll say The Silent Partner. An amazing little Canadian film from 1978. It's better if you just watch the film without knowing anything about it going in. A warning though, it's not for the faint of heart, it is a little twisted, but it is a very good and fairly unknown film indeed. It has a 7.6 rating here currently with just over 3000 voters. I gave it an 8 myself. It stars Elliott Gould, Christopher Plummer, and Susannah York, and John Candy has a small and fairly funny role. If you like crime thrillers, and you don't mind a little grit in your films, check it out asap! You'll wanna thank me later.
