    The score really fell flat for me. I get what they were going for with it but I didn't really like it at all. It is the only thing keeping this movie from being basically perfect for me.
    Anybody on here who is a big fan of the score and why?

      I agree with you, I really disliked the score, so much so I had to turn down the volume in parts. I don't remember having to ever do that before!

        I like the score, it fits the movie perfectly for me. I feel that way about other movies scores though so I know what you mean.

          I always hated that just because they had the same composer some considered that both
          Chinatown
          and
          LA Confidential
          are classic film scores.
          The difference in quality/excellence is colossal-the former is a top 10 all-time great score while the latter is not a top 100 film score.
