Here's what's wrong with the dying wish. By making it, she affirms that the SCOTUS is partisan, which it was never intended to be. IOW, she wasn't fit to serve if she believes in her dying wish.

Some are now wondering if she said it. It would be just like those who supported her agenda to claim she said it to make a sympathy play to try to force guilt upon those who are ready to nominate her replacement.
