I just watched this on the Hallmark Channel.
Maybe they cut the scene, but after Bernice got pounced by the large red headed girl, didn't Bernice stick up for herself later? I thought I remembered her defending herself. Thoughts?

Bernice hit her with her pocket book or book bag, I can't remember which one, even though I just watched this movie for the first time a few days ago, and then the fat girl knocked her down and got on top of her and hit her.
