When the stepmother has the baby, and its stillborn, why did they maids throw the baby on the fire?! She was not cruel to them up to that point at all, and in those days as well as today, stillborn babies are usually always burried just like any other person who died.

Don'r quote me on this, but since the baby was not been baptised I think it could not have a christian burial.
