I wish SWATH was as creepy as SWATOT. The problem with SWATH was there was no tension in the movie whatsoever despite plenty of opportunities for it. Furthermore Charlize Theron over-acted her scenes (screams too much - screaming isn't creepy, it's just comes off like an emotional crazy woman), whereas Sigourney pulled off the queen really well IMO.

I dunno, I found Charlize's screaming kinda arousing, but i guess i just got carried away by my dirty imgination

but, yes, I somewhat agree, Snow White 2012 was fell kinda flat. I still liked the Queen and the dwarves best in that one.
Haven seen this movie, does it succeed as a "dark" version of Snow White?" Remember seeing ads for this on tv when I was younger -

Charlize was capable of a lot better than what she gave in this. She could have been as good as Sigourney was as the Queen. She over cooked the role. Like Robert DeNiro as Sam Cady in the remake of Cape Fear. Theron's Queen was a shallow bitch. Weaver's was a bitch, but a deep emotional bitch.

While I think that Charlize Theron plays a better Evil Queen Monica Keena does Snow White better than Kristen Stewart and I like her love interest more than the Huntsman even though I like the actor, Chris Hemsworth.

The CGI keeps me away from these newer features. I'd rather suffer a guy in a rubber monster-suit a la Godzilla or Alien.
