It's an excellent film on many levels.
Mark Walberg says he's ashamed of it but I thought it was about way more than porn. It's about a lot of sad and very messed up people.
From the beginning or since he became a father? Would he let his kids watch his movie Fear instead?

As of late I have heard him say it.
He also got his tattoos removed and said they, involvement with drugs, crime, etc were a mistake.
I assume that since he had kids he has reconsidered his choices.
But, Boogie Nights wasn't about porn to me but all the sad and disturbed people who get into it.
Porn is a huge thing and a movie about the personalities involved is valuable.
I can still see a lot of the movie in my mind and that's because it hit me emotionally. Plus it was based on John Holmes who was a real person and didn't die very well because of that life. -

That's the thing I love about Boogie Nights. You really see the humanity of these people who work in a very sordid and disreputable industry.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything. -

In 2013 Walhburg was on Kimmel and performed his song from the movie. It's nowhere to be found on youtube now. He must really be ashamed and had it removed.

I saw a couple of shows where he seriously denounced his past actions.
He sounded like he was saying it for a purpose, like for someone specific. Also getting tats removed takes some time, so he was being very serious.
He was talking like me about this stuff so he must have had some major change.
Once again, probably thinking about his kids and what he imagines for them in the future.
A lot of trashy women become "soccer moms" and get all religious etc. -

This movie sucked donkey **** on every level.
Terrible script.
Horrible acting.
Some of the worst by a large number of actors.
It is dry and wooden.
A rock has more range.
Anyone who liked this movie has zero taste and has no idea what a good movie is.
This one is in the top 3 of all time horrible mainstream movies.
That is fact and not opinion.
You and anyone else who liked this is a blind and deaf moron who has no ****ing idea what a good movie is.
