Jessica Lange role as Martha vs. AHS role

Her role as Martha is very similar to Constance in AHS. When I was watching this movie I felt she played it just as creepy, manipulatively and sinister as she did Constance. Does anyone else agree?

Indeed - Jessica Lange has quite a line in mothers clinging onto their children - check out Grey Gardens (the Drew Barrymore film about Big Edie and Little Edie)

I felt like the trials and tribulations of Martha needed to happen for Lange so she could regroup and TOTALLY knock Constance out of the water!!! I loved Lange as Martha, but she scaled her back just enough to REALLY make Constance all she was. It is unfortunate that "Hush" wasn't the film everyone expected, but it will always be a guilty pleasure among us.
