In the ficticious world of the movie, you see an extremely violent society, where people are constantly shooting, or at least threatening to shoot each other, and blowing up gas stations in broad daylight. Verona is such a savage place, it makes Detroit look calm and peaceful.
Yet, everyone talks in such sophisticated, high class language. It's like wearing a tuxedo to the Dollar Store.

A dope trailer is no place for a kitty.

Yes exactly; I think it's what this film so crazy and intense..mixing such elegant classic English with savage, gang-like violence. It makes for quite a surreal viewing experience.

Are you familiar with the savagery of colonialism and all that sophistication?

The upper classes (including their guys on the street) were sophisticated. The nurse, for example, has a very common style of speech.

That kind of juxtaposition is done on purpose. It's one of the things that makes this movie so great, and as another poster said, gives it a surreal quality. I absolutely love that type of thing.
