If a civil war erupts, the entire world will be pulled into conflict. This is a very important moment for humanity right now.
Russia and China will not sit back and watch, they will back the side that weakens the US - the Dems. Our allies will then be dragged in because you can't fight an external war while you're in conflict internally.
The only question is, which side would be considered America? Which side would our allies back? If the world's media gives us any clues, it looks like most would back the Dems. But if the communists are backing them, what then? This is the most uncertain time any of us have ever known.
We're on the brink of the end of civilization as we know it. -

Have there been civil wars before? Which of those countries had "two armies" to begin with? The US has had a civil war. So has England, along with many, many other nations. We've also had a revolution before, and so have France and Russia. Theirs began with events not too dissimilar to today's.
The country becomes divided along all sorts of lines - political, ethnic, cultural, religious, state, class, and so on. I can't predict who exactly would be on each side.
If it's state, then each state has its own law enforcement and national guard. There's also federal law enforcement, and the military, but who knows how they might react. Would they stay cohesive, or would the organizations fracture along the same lines as the civilian population?
There are various branches of the military, all of which are controlled by a commanding officer. What alligemce might he have? Would his personnel act on his orders? You must consider the fact that military units and law enforcement are made up of individuals who'll have their own, private alliegance.
Civil wars are the worst wars. They're often the most brutal and there's very few places within the country that find themselves unscathed by the end of it. As you've identified, they can be confusing, with distrust rife amongst the different groups. How does each person identify? Are they clearly for one side or the other? What if they're Christian, pro-life, but have lived in Oregan all their life? Whose side are they on? Do they even know?
Passions also run higher when the fight is personal. People don't get as angry securing an oil field as they do when defending their families, principles and way of life. -

You are just a crazy lesbian tbh, none of this will happen. And if it does then **** it. The rest of the world will watch on Youtube and laugh as you all kill each other over who sits in the white house, and old fart or a fat ****.
Im joking, i wish you the best of outcomes x -

You'll be praying that we get through it quickly and stay intact. Only an idiot would want to live in a world without a strong America.
Unfortunately, if we do reach the point of civil war, we're looking at WWIII, as I stated in my OP. I don't think that would end well for anybody who values their liberty.
