One minute Einon and Kara are in the dungeonthe next they are in a bedroom with him just in a shirt and her in a nightgown with him throwing her on the bed and kissing her. Did we cut in to an attempted rape or had the deed already been done? I'm surprised no one has mentioned this and that it's not in the parental guide.

I'm more than certain that it was an attempted rape. There's no way that Kara would choose to give herself to that pig.

I wondered about that too. Given that Kara is so repulsed by his attempt to kiss her, I would say he never got as far as the rape she stabbed him when he tried it, so he backed off.

The rating is likely to be one of the reasons why the rape is not depicted. Portraying rape would push the movie above the PG-13 limit. I don't think a rape that is merely hinted at or suggested would affect the rating, though.
