It's far from perfect, but
Campfire Tales
is a solid anthology series that has gained respect over the years.
It's a refreshing alternative to the teen-oriented slasher films of its time period.

I couldn't agree more.
Some scary guy in a mask finding new and innovative ways to off teenagers having sex has been done to death! Literally!
I enjoyed these urban legend stories and how cleverly the kids around the campfire tied in with their little tales.
Stay to the very end of the end credits! You get a fun little surprise.
