I find this movie entertaining and I'm not sure why

I can't name anything about the movie that isn't terrible but for some reason I'm entertained by it. Maybe it's the goofy chemistry and energy between the leads. The movie really is completely incompetent but it's also strangely endearing.

I feel the same waythe movie never even really made me laugh when I was youngand of course still really doesn't get any true laughs when I watch it today. But for some strange reason I have always felt at ease while watching it. Sometimes you just need to watch a movie that is in no way challenging.
Even the most primitive society has an innate respect for the insane.

Sums up my feelings perfectly. Saw it for the first time not too long ago and although not one part made me laugh I've watched it another 2 times since then. It is just a film where I can watch it without having to invest too much into it and sometimes that is just what the doctor orders after a hard day.
