I thought it strange that the two guys at the bar in the hotel were discussing the governor and they said something about how she turned liberal once she got voted into office. But later on, when she is giving her speech outside, it sounded like she was saying she was a proponent of prayer in school, which is a very Repub thing to say. Did I hear it incorrectly? Isn't that kind of strange? Maybe it was designed to show how flip-floppy she is on the various issues, in a sort of half-a**ed attempt to show she is a lying politician?

Well, there was a mention of her uniting Republicans and Democrats, so I guess they were trying to play her off as "neutral". However, the fact that everyone that was in on it were eeeevil old white men and ONE woman, versus all the heroic people being her assistant (black woman), the shoe shiner (black man), the guy in the waiter's uniform and the cleaning lady (both hispanic), and of course the governor herself (woman). Just seemed very hollywood PC cliche to me.

Wasn't the woman involved in the plot hispanic? 😛 that'd throw your theory askew.

Haha, you mean Roma Maffia, the woman in the car? Try again buddy, she's European, whatever you think she looks like. The poster before you was right: this was one big liberal PC-fest. The white conservatives going after the poor liberals and minorities. I'm really glad that the movie was a piece of junk. I'd hate to have that propaganda attached to a half decent film

According to the actress's official bio, she's half East Indian, so you're not exactly correct.
