Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Les Misérables

i taped the movie when it was on tv, and i thought it was great. but unfortunately i watched the beginning and only taped the rest.
the problem is, i am trying to find out what the poem was at the very start (when it was new year's eve and everyone was dancing). I can only recall small parts of it, like 'j'ai grandi, je ne sais pas comment' and at the end something along the lines of 'j'ai pense que la vie est incroyable, j'ai trouve que c'est miserable'.
if anyone could let me know what this poem is (or how it goes) i'd be very grateful.
