Today is the last time I go to an outdoor car show

-Large outdoor group of thousands of people in a Bible belt area.
-Almost no one had a mask on.
-No one practicing the 6 feet/3 meters rule.
-One man's shirt said "Fear the Government, Not the Virus."
He also just happened to be old, white, redneck-looking, and fat - you'll notice that correlation
-More black people had on masks per black people than white people did per white people.
-Instantly paranoid I'm going to catch Covid.
-Benevolent racism here, but IMO black folks are much better at tricking out their vehicles than whites, generally: they really focus on detail, and the rims, and paint job. That is just an observation and has nothing to do with my point.
-I didn't tell him but I'm not particularly thrilled with my friend who asked me to go with him, because, I haven't been to anything like that since March 2020 when this hit and I fear I'm going to catch Covid now. I don't have the vaccine so I don't want to go to places like that. I assumed safety measures would be in place and it wasn't going to be in a redneck area where the people in charge are also rednecks and they don't follow the CDC's recommendations.
-I understand not wanting the vaccine but there is no risk in wearing a mask; it's the easiest precaution one can take and they don't to make an insane political statement. These emphysema-having obese wrinkled-face ****s risk the lives of themselves and others for no other reason to make statement.
-No, it is not hard to breathe in a mask. You breathe the same.
It's super easy, barely an inconvenience.
It's like watching a movie with subtitles: it seems like an inconvenience at first but after 20 minutes you forget they're there. And it is any ****ing coincidence that the same people who don't wear masks to make a statement don't watch subtitled films? For ****'s sake. I really, really don't like rednecks.
Never lose your desire.
