You are right! This was made in 1995 and I had not watched this movie in years. I watched it again today and there is minor dialog about Donald Trump and even reference to Hillary Clinton running for President someday (see link below):

Yeah, I caught that on my most recent viewing this weekend. Similarly, there's a scene in Lethal Weapon 2 where Murtaugh refers to the shipment full of drug money as "the Donald Trump lotto." Made me laugh. No Hillary Clinton references, though.

Yeah, I caught that on my most recent viewing this weekend. Similarly, there's a scene in Lethal Weapon 2 where Murtaugh refers to the shipment full of drug money as "the Donald Trump lotto." Made me laugh. No Hillary Clinton references, though. 'Remember when' is the lowest form of conversation.
