Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — The Crossing Guard

Has anyone heard of any news as to whether The Crossing Guard will be released on Blu-Ray?
I used to own it on DVD and remember it being quite a grainy film so Miramax may not even bother doing a HD transfer if there's not going to be any drastic improvement in PQ or sound!
I no longer have this film on DVD and really need to get reacquainted with it again but hopefully on a more superior format.
    Cheers

Just bought my blu-ray at a store in Japan and brought it back to the US and it plays fine on my Sony blu-ray player and is in English with optional Japanese audio and subtitles. No English subtitles. Cost is a bit high, however. About $30 US.

I'm still waiting for its single release in the US, is that possible?
