I was looking through cast members on here and saw he was credited for 14 years on here.
I was never a constant watcher of mad tv but I thought he was only one maybe about 5 years at most.
Anyone care to explain if I'm missing something.

I've seen the show and he only made brief appearances. I can only remember his Appearance on Mad's 300th episode and one where I believe the Season 4 or 5 cast were talking about his baywatch/pig sketch.

That sounds like an error. He wasn't a cast member by season 3. I'm not even sure he was a cast member in season 2.
Planetmadtv would have more accurate info.
On a side note, wasn't Artie Lange a lot more convincing as an actor on Mad TV. He seemed to have potential and talent back then. Now he's a professional A-hole.

You probably won't see this now, but I'll answer anyway. Artie was a castmember for the first two seasons, but he did make an appereance in the series finale.
