If you want to know what the US will look like in just a few years, take a look at the rioting and looting in SA. -

I lost my source on what's happening now in South Africa. He was a multi-lingual white Belgian immigrant who moved there over 50 years ago. I haven't heard a thing from him since April when he disappeared from social media. I had been warning him for several years to get out of Africa altogether.
I suggest following the link in the WND article:

That link leads to a verification cycle. I'll check it out again when it's in a better mood.
Thanks for providing it though. I hope your friend is OK. Yes, definitely get the hell out of Africa. Apart from their own, eternal problems, they are now the target of Chinese destabilization. -

The BBC was talking about it at first, but seems to have abruptly stopped. The MSM isn't talking because the Leftist policies in the US are steering the country in the same direction. South Africa is following the pattern of failure that occurred in Zimbabwe and Venezuela. All three countries are discouraging foreign investment by stealing it, so that investment has all but dried up.

Both sides have the guns.
It's worth considering that Aldous Huxley felt the the strategy of communism is to create chaos and disorder amongst the capitalist nations, because the only political group that can self-organize from the ensuing anarchy is communism. I wouldn't underestimate the resolve of communism. If you can't see we're losing the Cold War, you're not looking closely enough. What's happening in Africa will soon be happening here. It's inevitable at this point, precisely because most people don't believe it's happening.
Then, when the US finally collapses, communism will rise from the flames. They know that. That's why they're backing everybody from BLM to Extinction Rebellion. They don't care who creates the chaos, only that there is chaos to exploit. The further removed the anarchists are from communism the better, because they can then claim to have had no part in any of it.
You talk about guns as if only the good guys have them. Our guns will face off against their guns. The reds will be united, backed by Russia or China. We'll just be part of one of many disparate, isolated groups. Europe won't want a war against China while we're a failed state.
I'm not sure you've seen the scenes from South Africa. No amount of marksmanship skill or home defense training will save us from that. -

First of all one side clearly has MORE guns and it ain't the left. Next, you completely ignored my point about demographics. Do you not understand it? Must I explain it to you?

That's odd. I've got friends there just now who are having a very pleasant time with their kids in tow.
I've other friends who live there (Indeed one was born there) and they don't seem to feel threatened much
They do say stay away from areas of certain cities and use the same general precautions when travelling around as always but for them it's all just another bump in the cultural upheaval.
It is odd that the mainstream media isn't giving it more coverage, but they are not talking about the Thailand protests either and so I'm guessing covid-19 is the hot ticket for ratings in the West at the moment.

There is some awful things going on in South Africa, I'm not downplaying that. But people know where to stay away from and how to keep their families safe - for now.
Protests in Thailand always end in bloodshed. It's the same-old, same-old out there with one group of people wanting to remove the current prime minister and another group who believe the other group is wrong.
In amongst them are soldiers without bullets having to keep the peace as best they can.
It happens all the time in Thailand but it's still worth pointing out that Western media doesn't care much about it.

I fear it's only a matter of time before everyone in SA is affected. The supply chain is already in ruins, so it won't be long before there's major food shortages.
Thailand is such a beautiful country. It's a shame it's so volatile. I think protesting is an intrinsic aspect of their culture. Apparently this time it's because of COVID, but I'm sure that's just the excuse.
