Not by much, granted, but it looks and feels like a film from 1989 to about 1991. Now I know that isn't a huge leap, but in the 20th Century, films tended to date and age much quicker than in the 21st. I suppose a lot of that boils down to technology, but I'm guessing there are other variables at play here.
A movie from 2007 can still easily pass for a 2016 film. But comparing 1994 to 1989 or even 1991, there do tend to be pretty big, noticeable differences in the look of the film (to say nothing of the fashion or hairstyles.)
Am I alone in thinking this? I was watching it today and even looking at Adam Sandler, I couldn't believe he was a year away from Billy Madison - a very quintessential "'90s movie."
Perhaps this was filmed in the earlier part of the decade? I looked, but didn't see anything about that.
