Witty Surprising Humour Present

I must commend the director because when I started watching this film I said to myself "it's another sad stupid film that makes fun of Canadians". Yet, time and time again there were humour present that was quite surprising to me at least.
Example:- The van having insults only in English - discriminates the Quebeqois.
- Canadian Mounties discussion whether it was acceptable to end a sentence with a preposition.
- Canadian Mounty headquarters incarcirating a tycoon for taking over another company and terminating employees.
Lightens my spirit everytime I think of those scenes. However, I express my dissapointment that the film failed to show racial diversity. It is this that fills intellectuals with awe. Since for decades the central theme within Canadian History has always been survival. The fact that Canada is so diverse and yet maintain itself despite the fact that every now and then Canada is threatened with immenent dismemberment specially by Quebec. Also, Canada is not the 51st state as many Americans love to claim. Canada clearly has a different identity to its American counterpart. Canada is always troubled by the fact that Ontario's policies centre on the North American Continent and Quebec, closer to Europe. If Canada is a subportion of any political entity it would be maybe weakly argued that, that is The United Kingdom of Great Britain - Canada is a Constitutional Monarchy with its Head of State being the British Monarchy although this position is merely ceremonial.

Yes, these issues are important. However, the movie was meant more for American audience and I doubt americans would care about those isues. Although I must give credit to Michael Moore, he sure did his homework on Canada.
