Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Beverly Hills Cop III

Seriously, the end of the movie, the big showdown at the park. It's absolutely ridiculous how everyone gets shot, I mean within minutes, most of the bad guys go down like flies, Billy gets shot after killing 2 other guys, the final confronfration with DeWald is non existent (he just gets SHOT as everyone else in this movie).
When you finally think it's over, Ditective Fulbright comes along, Foley says that he knows about someone else being involved, Fulbright says "So long Foley" and what happens? He gets shot! Seriously, I don't mind the bad guys getting wasted but it's just handled SO bad. There's no explanation for anything it seems. "So long Foley"? What the beep is that? The big cop was in on it too for about 1 second and then he gets blown away.
Sorry the rant, just saw this movie again last night after haven't seen it for about 10 years. It's still pretty good but that endingman, what a weird bloodfest.

We're all used to villains in movies not being particularly accurate shots but this film was ridiculous. They failed to hit their targets when they were stood still out in the open even armed with machine guns ffs! There's also one infuriating scene where Murphy is arming the big gun he borrowed from Serge and two machine gun wielding goons are just strolling towards him not even bothering to open fire. Rubbish!

You just have to take it with a pinch of salt, really. It's ridiculous but that's the point.

It’s a Disney satire. Shortly before it was revealed that Disney and FBI had a secret deal with D supplying info to FBI. There lies the explanation.

It's true,Facebook and Twitter supply information about people to the government in exchange for basically paying zero taxes on the billions they make, before that,it was the entertainment industries.
