The production of Wayne's World 2 was famously chaotic, marked by studio threats, massive last-minute rewrites, and behind-the-scenes drama.
The "Waynedavia" Incident
Original Script: Mike Myers originally wrote a sequel inspired by the 1949 film Passport to Pimlico, where Wayne and Garth discover Aurora, IL, never officially joined the U.S. and decide to form their own country, "Waynedavia."
The Threat: Just 10 weeks before filming, Paramount realized they didn’t have the rights to the Pimlico story. Studio chairman Sherry Lansing famously called Myers into her office and threatened to "take his f—ing house" and sue him for everything he owned if he didn't rewrite the script immediately.
The Sequestered Rewrite: Myers was forced to stay in the Paramount offices and rewrite the entire movie from scratch in just a few weeks.
Director and Cast Friction
Director Swap: Penelope Spheeris, director of the first film, was not invited back because she and Myers clashed during the first movie’s post-production—specifically over Myers wanting to cut the "Bohemian Rhapsody" scene. She was replaced by Stephen Surjik.
Dana Carvey Almost Quit: Feeling that Garth had nothing to do in the new script, Dana Carvey threatened to quit three weeks before shooting. To keep him, Myers added the "Honey Hornee" and "Betty Jo" love interests for Garth.
Rob Lowe’s Exit: Rob Lowe was originally set to return as Benjamin, but after the script changed multiple times, he left the project. The role of the antagonist was eventually reworked and played by Christopher Walken.
Scrapped Cameos and Plot Lines
Drew Barrymore’s Role: In early drafts, Wayne was supposed to dump Cassandra for Drew Barrymore’s character, Bjergen Kjergen. In the final film, Barrymore’s role was reduced to a minor appearance.
Sammy Hagar: A martial arts battle was originally planned between Wayne and Sammy Hagar (playing Bjergen’s father).
Scrapped Pearl Jam Cameo: Eddie Vedder was originally written into a scene where he was passed over a crowd alongside a goat and a refrigerator.
Nirvana was planned to be in the movie but they turned it down after reading the first draft.
Rushed Production and Release
No Time to Edit: Because Paramount insisted on a December 1993 release, the ending of the film was being re-shot and edited right up until the release date. Director Stephen Surjik noted they had "no time to edit anything" because the schedule was so rushed.
Box Office Rivalry: The film performed significantly worse than the original, partly because it opened just one week after the massive hit Mrs. Doubtfire.
Long-Term Fallout
The Dr. Evil Rift: Myers and Carvey had a falling out that lasted 15 years, partly due to the stress of Wayne’s World 2 and partly because Carvey felt Myers’ "Dr. Evil" character was a stolen impression of SNL creator Lorne Michaels. They didn’t reconcile until 2008. -

Isn't that the most popular scene? -

I hate these kinds of YouTube channels.
Three problems with your post:- You just copy and pasted the transcript of some Youtuber's lame movie review channel. Featuring a monotone, expressionless narration (because all these channels have to get their voice and face as much in the video as possible)
- These channels are unoriginal garbage. They offer nothing other than re-treading old movies we've all seen before. They offer no new insight. They just pick an old movie, and do their half-assed commentary over it. 21:20 minutes of boring Entertainment Tonight gossip of what happened on the set. Do we really need to know? Don't we have better things we could do with our time? This is the People Magazine version of a Youtube channel. These people should just not narrate their videos at all, because they all sound exactly the same. No one shows any expression or enthusiasm and they are terrible orators.
- There is no #3. YouTube has gone to ****, and channels like this just prove it.
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
