The book scene in Stevens study.
The scene where Stevens hears Miss Kenton crying and goes into her room.
The scene where Stevens and Miss Kenton are walking back to the house and he smiles and she asks him about his guilty smile.
The scene where Miss Kenton comes back to the house with the Police and Stevens has to confirm he knows who she is. Also in that same scene when she tells him she is getting married, my heart broke for him learning she is leaving him. I also felt sorry for her because she kept trying to provoke him into a reaction to admit his feelings but couldn't get him to do so.
It is my business to protect your majesty. against all things.

The scene that always stuck out was when the one pompous British guy was grilling Stevens on the gold standard, bolshevik arms deals, etc, implying Stevens as an ignorant know-nothing and not worthy of the right to vote. Stevens took it in stride although you could see he wanted to eat the guy's face off. Even Lord Darlington looked bothered by it.
Also liked Senator Superman's Amateurs speech.

I'm awfulI like the car scene the bestwhen Reeves gives Hopkins the stunning Daim lerit is so glossy and the dashboard wood still is there like newhe pulls out on the road with all the other old cars, but this one is many classes above. I just like cars more than actors
