He shows up after his death! At first I didn't think it was him (he's wearing sunglasses), but when he turns to the side to walk away, that mustache/smirk combination is undeniable. He posthumously appears right after the fight between John & Max, the one following the submersion of John's shanty. I took it to be a simple continuity issue and thought it would be in goofs or that someone would have mentioned it here but I couldn't find anything.

I saw the same thing, the guy looked just like Chuck. Can't say that was Ossie Davis though. Could be just an unexplained similarity.

Why would you ask that? Because they said a black person looked like another black person? I think Ossie Davis looks like Edgar Winter, personally. Feel better?
