I think that Demolition Man should have an expanded universe. They could make the sequels but not expanded universe. This is a thread for fan writers to help me write an expanded universe. They don't have to all be on movie characters but also on characters that I or any of us created. Please reply here if any of you would like to write a Demolition Man saga.

Also with the Demolition Man remake ideas there are ideas for a remake of the Running Man followed by a sequel and Jesse Ventura was with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Running Man. There's a remake entry that's remaking a classical long forgotten cartoon villain Pincushion Man.

How many of you people assumed 2 of the 6 cryo-cons freed by Simon Phoenix (one of them was played by Jesse "The Body" Ventura) were eliminated by the cryo-prison blown up as they simply vanished near the end?

If it went by this draft maybe there could be side stories on Denis Leary's character. One of the cryo-cons to try to jump and him and got shot falling to his death below the support grid. Maybe then during the road chase the surviving cryocons who fight Lenina Huxley and John Spartan are fighting armed rebels while one of them fights Denis Leary's character when he name was Thomas Payne. They think to have killed the scraps and their leader.
Sequels or prequels won't happen but could be just left as fan fiction.
In the comic book adaption to the sequel there could be flashback in the first battle of part 2 with armed scraps fighting cryocon henchmen and Simon Phoenix himself and Edgar Friendly kills Beppo a cryocon with 2032 in the box and then flash over to back to 20 years later.
In the novelization they could have flashbacks of on the way to the cryo-prison when Alfredo Garcia kills Adam (the Cocteau killer played by Jesse Ventura) while armed scraps kill a quarter of Simon Phoenix's criminal army being freed.

If I were to write ideas for side stories there is after John Spartan kills the cryocon named Albert and this is if the movie went by that draft as one of them lies dead when Spartan chased Phoenix back into the large cavern as Charlie lies dead there would be Thomas Payne pursuing Charlie to the large cavern support grid make the move to step on him. Thomas Payne would shoot Charlie blowing him away while the armed scraps battling those cryo-cons who survive disappear. One of them reappears and is killed by John Spartan. This could be then Chief Earle discovers Raymond Cocteau killed.
This is from cutting out scenes in the movie to when the scraps twice battle the cryo-cons (including that one played by Jesse Ventura as the Sylvester Stallone vs. Jesse Ventura fight was cut out).
It's a talking about my entry I read the scripts available for access. I have the trading cards. I also listened to audio commentary on the DVD. Maybe there are a couple of men already released that were gang members convicted of murder to a warlord killed by then by John Spartan. They were friends with Simon Phoenix just as there were gang leaders in league with Simon Phoenix as one guy was leader of the bloods and another head of the yakuza.
At the final battle at the cryo-prison it said everyone else was wiped out or killed. The first thing he says when meeting with John Spartan again is asking to have apprehended Simon Phoenix just as Chief Earle had learned Simon Phoenix had his gang off Raymond Cocteau for him. I had the idea that one cryo-con after knocked out gets back up and is killed by Alfredo Garcia on his way to the cryo-prison while the 2 others were indeed eliminated by the cryo-prison blown up.
There are updates. There are fan fiction thoughts posted on a link that shows ideas for more related to the movie or what ifs.
